Then hopefully our FAQ's can help...
How long do eyelash extensions last for?
Depending on how you care for your lashes, they can last for up to 4/6 weeks but to keep them looking full and volumous it is best to have them infilled every 2/3 weeks.
Does the procedure hurt?
No, you should won't feel any pain throughout the procedure. You will however be required to keep your eyes closed for the duration of your treatment to allow the lashes to be applied with ease.
How long does the treatment take?
A Full Set will take 1 - 1.5 hours, and a Half Set 30mins - 45mins.
Infills time is dependent on how many lashes need to go on.
Can I get them wet?
You need to keep the dry for 24hrs after they are applied. After that you can wash or swim as usually just pat them dry carefully afterwards and comb.
What is the difference between eyelash extensions and LVL?
Extensions are individual synthetic lashes applied to your own lashes to enhance them, where as LVL is a chemical treatment applied to your own lashes which makes them lift and curl - like how a perm is applied to your hair.
Can I wear contact lenses?
Yes you can - the lashes are applied only to your natural lash and do not touch any skin or the inside of your eyelid. It does not affect the lens at all.
How do I can clean my eyes?
In the shower or bath as normal, but be careful not to scrub hard at them. You can also use a oil free make up remover. After washing, pat them dry and give them a comb.
Can I get my eyelashes tinted?
You can get your lashes tinted before the procedure but not after, it is recommended but not essential to have them tinted if you have very light pale lashes, as this will darken the root and blend in with the lash extension.
Can I wear mascara with the lashes?
No you cannot wear mascara, for one thing you will not need to! The oil in the mascara can break the bond of glue and weaken the lash. There is oil free mascara available for extreme mascara addicts out there!
You can wear normal mascara on the bottom lashes.
Do they take off my own lashes when they come off?
No. When properly applied and maintained by you they should not damage your natural lashes at all. They simply fall out with you lash cycle. Do not attempt to pull out the lashes yourself though, as this could cause damage them. Get them removed by a technician.
What type of lashes do you use?
We use Silk and Faux Mink lashes which give a beautiful natural look and lasting curl.
